I have done this at Sobeys in the past, where the cashier corrected the price, and I had to say, “Shouldn’t it be free?” sure enough, she fixed it and gave the item for free. Remember, these stores volunteered to join the practice; it’s not something they were forced into. Be bold and speak up.
